At PwC, I am part of a specialty practice that has granted me tremendous opportunities. I have had and continue to have opportunities to work with companies across a multitude of industries. PwC gives me the opportunity to work people from all over the country with many varied backgrounds like my own. Learning about new clients as companies and, more importantly, the people that make up these workplaces is where my passion and dedication lies. In the long run, it is the relationships formed by working together on projects that cultivate trust and a lasti ng partnership.
My day to day work includes assisting companies with their Abandoned and Unclaimed Property issues and bring insight based on my years of experience working on unclaimed property projects. My experience in the unclaimed property area includes state and third-party audit defense; assistance with voluntary disclosures; development and implementation policies and procedures; and unclaimed property compliance.
At PwC, Zina assists clients in a broad range of abandoned and unclaimed property services and directives aimed at minimizing exposure, reducing liability and managing compliance strategies. She has assisted in the structuring of unclaimed property reporting and compliance programs and has helped in unclaimed property third party audit defense and voluntary disclosure engagements. Prior to joining the firm, Zina worked at a large privately held company assisting with their unclaimed property needs in different areas such as annual compliance, policies and procedures and asset recovery. Prior to that, Zina was with Ryan, LLC abandoned and unclaimed property practice. Her primary responsibilities were to assist clients with unclaimed property annual reporting, audit defense services, voluntary disclosure agreements with various states, asset recovery and policy and procedure. Zina has specific experience in the manufacturing, financial institutions, communications, media, utilities, retail, oil & gas, insurance, and automotive industries.
